Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: fresh hatched cloudless sulphur, we have lots of cassia in the yard we get a strong showing late summer through fall. they show up earlier inland. but here at the coast it takes warm days and the blooming of the cassia to bring them around. we see them in colorado low desert anytime of year if rain makes the cassia come to life and bloom. fast flier but not today 60 cool party cloudy to mostly cloudily also had a giant swallow tail hatch today. maybe they think the moisture is bringing good things very humid slight drizzle this morn, photo shot 1530. maybe it will fly away tomorrow the giant swallow tail hatched early and was eager to fly away. around ten am
