Observation notes: Found on Pentas (red bloom) in Lakewood Ranch (Sarasota) Florida while observing Monarchs life cycle. We will continue to raise until adulthood before releasing. The plant was purchased at Troys Tropic Sarasota Florida and transported to its current location Lakewood Ranch. The caterpillar was not noticed until about a week after purchase.
