Observation notes: red admiral hill toping on maple springs truck trail. Also ladies ( Painted ) fighting for control of ridge top. they would stop to sun them self's then return to the battle. this one also has the white spot on leading edge of hind wing on lower side. interesting to me that i don't remember seeing that very often but it's in lots of book and on websites?
