Observation notes: Was found on the front porch around 8pm. It was dark and the light was on. The temperature was about 70° F. It remained there for several hours.

Coordinator notes: This is a Black Witch, the largest moth west of the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains. They don't actually breed here, but stray from extreme southern California (possibly extreme southeastern Arizona) or Mexico (or other tropical countries).
