Observation date: September 09, 2013
Submitted by: jvkopple2
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: The weather was bright and in the 80s or 90s, I believe. I didn't notice anything too distinctive about the behavior. It was moving from plant to plant. I immediately noticed that it was a darker orange color on the forewings than would be true of a Monarch. I didn't know the exact species when I first saw it. I looked it up later.
