Observation notes: Queen visiting Ageratum sp. at Rain Crow Farm. Queen was being chased by Monarch while present. Seen only once previously at this site (date?). Hot sunny day approx. 90 deg F.

Coordinator notes: A male; not terribly uncommon to see these in the Colorado River Valley of western Colorado although it is always a surprise in the field to see in Colorado anywhere and it is certainly not as commonly seen this time of the year (Sept.) as is the oranger Monarch!
