Observation notes: Approximately 5 to 6 milkweed plants in close range had numerous caterpillars in various sizes moving about on them. These particular plants were located in the lee of the garage and were fairly sheltered from the wind. Other milkweed plants that were located about 30 feet away dodn't have anyof the caterpillars on them. the caterpillars were quite actively moving about and eating the leaves of the plants. IT was a sunny day and the temperature was around 25C.
