Observation notes: Some sun at 11,000 feet on excursion train; butterfly flew onto the T-shirt while the train was moving. Just at the tree line.

Coordinator notes: This seems to be a bit of a darker individual, but due to the obvious orange submarginal on the above hindwing and overall wing patterns I would say this is a Purplish Copper.
