Observation notes: I followed this butterfly around for some time before I finally got a couple nice pictures. I first noticed it in the grass and then it moved to some flowers (Asters) And starting eating. When it landed it would open and close its wings 1 or two times before leaving them closed while it ate. Hot, humid and sunny day.
