Coordinator notes: The photo is dark, but I copied and edited the image to get a bit more contrast, and compared it to several sphinx moths. The pattern and stance of the resting moth matches Manduca sexta perfectly. The specimen may be worn or grayer than typical, but the wing pattern leaves no doubt. Here is an image of this species off bugguide.net, if you look at the lighter and darker areas, you'll see my reasoning. SAT
