Observation notes: Observed by Marian Quinn and Susan Birch of West Chester, PA at edge of the last field on the right along gravel road just before reaching the stone bridge to exit Stroud Preserve, 454 N Creek Rd West Chester, PA 19382. First sighted/photographed by Marian Quinn 19:17:10 p.m. EDT hovering apprx 4" above wildflowers at edge of road. Briefly lost sighting, relocated by Susan Birch and photographed by Marian Quinn apprx 6 feet away from original sighting where it was feeding at lobelia at 19:17:31 p.m. EDT. The latter of the two photographs taken is the one submitted. Weather: clear skies, temp in high 70s, mild breeze. Low/dusky light conditions (sunset 7:50 p.m.)
