Observation notes: Seen along the forest trail just past the rhodedendron 'forest' near the entrance of the park. Seen in near proximity to other satyr species including NORTHERN PEARLY-EYE and APPALACHIAN BROWN. Note this this specimen has diagnostic 'tooth' at the 2nd vein of the basal line, which should provide ID against Appalachian Brown.
