Observation notes: This insect was found in a stairwell of the city water treatment plant. Several pictures were taken with a phone for later identification. The weather outside was rainy and cool for july and there was an exit near. Outside of the exit were 5-10 acres resembling old field habitat and several water sources in the form of water treatment lagoons and storage ponds, all surrounded by agricultural land. The insect was very docile and reacted minimally to the photographer's presence.
