Observation notes: Found this little caterpillar on some Dill that I was cleaning out of my caterpillar habitat - all of my Eastern Black Swallowtails had produced chrysalises so the plants were no longer needed. I didn't notice any eggs on either plants when I brought them in or at any point in time while they were being fed upon, but noticed this small caterpillar this morning when I was pulling out the Dill and Queen Anne's Lace. It is black with a brown head and two light greenish/yellowish stripes run down the length of it's back (one on each side). It is approximately 2/8"-3/8" in length. It doesn't appear to want to eat on either of the two plants I had and am at a loss as to what to feed it at this point.
