Observation notes: Found in San Juan Mountains near Bolam Pass (Durango Colorado) Partly cloudy day with recent rain, habitat was near a small lake with many wildflowers. Exact GPS coords can be provided if needed as well as more pictures including a frontal (head) view.

Coordinator notes: Based on range, this is likely P. smintheus. P. smintheus, behrii, and phoebus were all formerly lumped under the same name. The markings on P. smintheus can be quite variable but the black bar within the forewing cell rarely crosses the entire cell.
