Observation notes: Flew around Cleome (Spider Flower) 3-4 minutes before choosing a leaf for depositing eggs. Observed her deposit 21 eggs in 4 minutes on UNDERSIDE of leaf - supposedly totally atypical behavior. Earlier eggs on same plant (May 28) were on top of a leaf. Spacing of eggs was typical. I have photos of eggs taken immediately after her departure. Will monitor.
