Observation notes: Cool, sunny day. Butterfly flitting through grass at the edge of a wooded area in the "Thumb" region of MI. Initially appeared to be hiding in the grass but took flight and landed on an oak leaf. In flight, there is irridescent, dark turquoise (smaller/back wings?) and the same color is visible on the underside.
