Observation notes: This butterfly came to the skylight on our deck this morning June 17, 2013 around 9 am. Later in the day as my husband was in the yard it flew around his head. This evening at 6:40 it came back to the sky light and is there now. The weather all day today was clear and sunny and the temperature right now at 6:42 is 20 deg C. Slight breeze all day. This morning the butterfly was facing the sun then it moved to the shady part of the skylight. What a treat today!! I will share my photographs.
