Observation notes: Warm, sunny day after wet night. Mild wind. Feeding on coreopsis with other crescents and checkerspots. This individual was about the same size as the Phaon Crescent, distinctly bigger than the Pearls. I am partly basing this identification on the side view of the wings, with orange on top wing and busy pattern underneath.
