Coordinator notes: According to bugguide.net, there is no 100% assurance of id'ing a group of Apantesis species (nais/carlotta/phalerata/vittata), all of which could be found in the sighting area, without dissection. However, in reviewing the characteristics of this sighting with many photos on bugguide.net and MPG, I believe this sighting is Apantesis nais.
