The location is in a park area near a wildlife preserve. The park is very large and has a large reservoir. The siting is between a paved walkway and a wooded area. Lots of weeks growing there. The butterfly appears to be a cabbage white, however it doesn't have the usual clear black dots on its wings. The front wing tips do have some dark banding at the apex. The hind wing seemed to have some coloration on the outside but it was not distinct. Flight seemed to be about what one expects from Cabbage whites.
