Observation notes: I noticed this moth on my creeping phlox in my front yard. At first, I thought it was a hummingbird. It moved almost exactly like a hummingbird, but a little slower. It flew back and forth between 2 or 3 mounds of phlox, feeding on several flowers. I had never seen anything like it, so I did some googling, and I think it's a clear wing hummingbird moth. Pretty neat!
