Observation notes: Photo was taken midday on High Bridge Trail State Park on a clear, summer day. The temperature was in the upper nineties. This Red Admiral was fluttering around the butterfly garden about a hundred yards from the River Road Access. He was an excitable little fellow that could not keep away from my sweaty shirt.
