Observation notes: This moth was observed just clinging to a door frame leading into my garage. Although I was concerned that it might fly off before I could capture it in a photograph, the moth made no movement at all while I was taking pictures. To my knowledge, the moth stayed put on the door frame all day, but was gone the next morning. The weather was clear, sunny, and warm.
