Observation notes: We found this beautiful orange and black moth resting on our deck next to a small poinsettia plant. The temperate was moderate, comfortable with light breezes. The moth rested for a long time, undisturbed by the flash of the camera or our presence. We don't recall having ever seen a moth like this before, and we identified it by matching photos we found online.
