Observation notes: I found this on my deck climbing the brick chimney outside my home. No plants on the deck. I live in Mooresville, North Carolina. I put it in a large container with many leaves of different types and it has consumed almost all of the ivy leaves in just a couple hours. It has not touched the grass, Salvia, butterfly bush, soy bean or fig leaves (yet).
