Observation notes: 7 individuals seen in 3 hr hike at about 4,500-5,200 ft elevation, mountain roads trails and meadows. Oddly, this sp outnumbered V cardui by about a factor of two. Carol Mack & John Stuart reported seeing V annabella on Mt Spokane yrs ago but this is the 1st photo documentation, I believe.
