Coordinator notes: I thought perhaps I commented on these before but I see they are still among the pending sightings. These two are most interesting. They look like typical P. rutulus but he black stripes on wings are a bit narrow than typical for rutulus. They look to be about the width of the stripes on the Two-tailed Tiger Swallowtail, Papilio multicaudata. They lack the double caudal (tailed) anal hindwings thus resemble rutulus in that respect. I am wondering if these might be a hybrid between the two species. Would like to examine a specimen if it exists!
