Observation notes: Fern Forest Nature Center in Coconut Creek. Scrubland area. Found caterpillars on a native pea plant. Never seen this type before. Initial internet search found similar pictures of cinnabar moth caterpillars. Nature Center staff has never seen this caterpillar either. When I returned today to get better pictures, 4 caterpillars remained on pea plant.
