Red-Shouldered Ctenucha
Ctenucha rubroscapus

Observation date: July 01, 2012
Submitted by: jenniealice
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: It is a bright warm day with a light breeze. The "moth" flew like a termite and was easy to spot flying about 6' off the ground in our open field. It landed in a small patch of himalaya berries (still flowering with some green fruit started).
Status: Resident

Coordinator notes: The white tip of the forewing indicates this species. Multifaria would have a white border along the forewing leading edge. Kelly
