Observation notes: Weather was sunny, hot (89F), VERY humid, slight breeze. We saw MANY of these tiny little orange butterflies actively feeding on common milkweed, red clover, alsike clover, yellow sweet clover, hoary alyssum, sulphur cinquefoil, field mustard, and veronica hastata.
