Observation notes: Sage steppe habitat. Elev approx 2500 ft. Near the trailhead of the Rapid River Trail. First record of P. pallida on the Seven Devils, ID 4th of July Butterfly Count. Specimen resides in the Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History at The College of Idaho, Caldwell, ID.
