Coordinator notes: The editha subspecies that occurs east of Santa Margarita Lake near the road junction is luestherae. In that area in August and September you can find members of the Apodemia mormo complex in that area on buckwheats. Chalcedon Checkerspots fly in the streambeds below Hwy. 58. Lupine Blues can be in there in May, but acmons may be much more common. You may find California Sisters and Lorquin's Admiral's in there as well.
