Observation notes: This tiny, delicate, beautiful little butterfly's wings were barely the width of a dime. It kept its wings clasped shut while nectaring on these rosemary blossoms, and I only had a split second to catch one shot of its wings slightly separated. It was too far away for me to get a look inside, but my research findings indicate that this one is female. Conditions: Clear and sunny, 80 degrees.
