Observation notes: The butterfly was found flying along the Springs Creek trail in Steamboat Springs, CO. It was observed drinking water from rain puddles along the trail. The vegetation includes pines, aspen, cottonwood, and service berry bushes, etc. The day was in the low 80's, sunny and with no wind. The elevation is around 6500 ft.
