Observation notes: This bright orange caterpillar was feeding on one of several Milkweed plants. They seem to like the flower as well as the leaf. There are several on the various plants. The hairs grow darker as the caterpillar grows. We are located in western Kenosha County, Wisconsin. The weather is a beautiful 80 degrees and sunny.
