Observation notes: Seen on my ranch in Converse County, Wyoming. A friend told me there were no records of black witches for Converse County, so I am submitting this. I see one approximately every other summer. This was seen on a warm, sunny summer day, active during the daytime. (Note that I am an entomologist at Casper College in nearby Casper, Wyoming.)
