Observation notes: While I think this is Cissusa spadix, there is apparently another species currently being described whose range will likely include southwestern Texas and may come as far as the eastern edge of the Edwards Plateau.

Coordinator notes: Based on range and the location of this sighting--just east of the Hill Country and I-35, I believe this is C. spadix and not a new undescribed species shown on bugguide.net at the link below.
