Observation notes: Observed in flight, on twig perch, and on a section of tree trunk, less than 5 feet from ground in all cases. Observed during Western Chester County Christmas Bird Count. Clear skies, winds light and variable, temps in low 40s. Location is Birch Run Forest Land Preserve, 578 N Sandy Hill Road West Caln Township, Chester County PA
