Observation notes: Fairly large caterpillar ~2". Initially noticed the prior evening when I was weed-eating towards dusk. It climbed up on some tall dry grasses. Not sure if that was the host plant or if it was disturbed by the weed eater. Went back following day to re-photograph. Has distinct "face" and yellow appendage on it's tail.
