Observation notes: Part of a CA State Parks, Big River Haul Rd. butterfly survey to update their butterfly list. American Ladies, this year, are the most common of the Ladies I seen in the area this year. Previous years I've had a hard time finding them. This is a bruised and battered butterfly. They will be added to the list.
