Observation notes: It got down to 50 degrees Fahrenheit yesterday night and it's been raining on and off. Maybe ten or so feet away from the fence the caterpillar was found on is our garden; we grow tomatoes, bell peppers, and Anaheim peppers. The two photos were taken three days apart. It's formed a cocoon on our fence.
