Observation notes: Seen flying around ceiling light in quarry main shop. Moth eventually landed on floor where it crawled in circles aprox 12 inches in diameter, pausing occasionally to flutter/vibrate wings rapidly while head and front of body raised. After a minute or so of this behavior it settled into position shown in photos and remained that way for at least 5 minutes. When I returned to area an hour later moth was gone.
