Observation notes: I saw this on my back patio. My neighbor has a garden. I'm not sure of the type of plants, but they seem to be more herbs than flowers. It had been drizzling off an on all morning. I've never seen a caterpillar that big, so I put my shoe next to it for reference. It was motoring along pretty quickly.
