Observation notes: This small butterfly was feasting on our caryopteris x clandonesis along with several bumblebees. This plant is a crown favorite for bees and butterflies and we placed it in our garden a couple of years ago for just this reason. It is a perennial and blooms prolifically from late summer through early autumn.
