Observation notes: Male flew into a dense "cave"-like patch of trees in search for a roosting site. Two Monarchs spotted total, at a rate of roughly one per hour. Riparian area surrounded predominantly by desert scrub habitat. Asclepias speciosa common, fair - poor condition. Some nectaring sites. No immatures found.
