Observation notes: Part of a six mile bike trip up Big River Haul Road. Warm and sunny away from the coast. The Buckeye was one of the most common butterflies during the trip. Alway guarding the Haul Road and always doing their upward spiraling movement (challenge) when another Buckeye came close.
