Woodland Skipper
Ochlodes sylvanoides

Observation date: August 11, 2016
Submitted by: RichHubie
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Part of a 6 mile bike trip up Big River. Warm and sunny after getting away from the coast. Woodland Skippers were common at the beginning of the trip. Probably saw 20-30 of them. Disappeared further up river. Seems to be the most common skipper here in Mendocino County.
