Coordinator notes: Gulf Fritillaries are common in the Bay area, folks are not likely to go to your yard looking for them and I don't plan to publish your record in the Season Summary. I do recommend that for submissions you do give at least a city or a geographical landmark, you don't have to give a house number. Very few records submitted to BAMONA are published in the annual Season Summary scientific report which gives new county records, range extensions and important new localities. BAMONA itself has a different goal than the Season Summary, using range maps and compiling county species lists and identification services. I am also the Season Summary Coordinator for 4 states and always ask for permission from BAMONA submitters to publish. Sometimes, ordinary people make dazzling scientific discoveries, which is why I do this job for BAMONA.-Ken Davenport
