Coordinator notes: A female of the Arctic Small Fritillary. You will not find the Bog Fritillary much below 10000 ft. and as the name suggests, always in sub-alpine and alpine bogs, never in the open forest. You usually have to get your feet wet to find them from mid-June and July and very uncommonly found in the noted places on the western slope in Colorado. Mike
